This is a complete set of 7 x well-rounded (Daytime & Evening), easy-to-do 20-minute classes which is all you will need to fulfil those unpredictable moments to just do yoga – whether it’s to pick up your mood, get some flexibility, loosen up some tension in your body, or just relax & rejuvenate deeply. These varied set of classes led by beautiful teacher, Jane Thomas, is a brilliant set of classes to have on your iPod on-the-go!
Day Class 1 – Energising Sequence: Jane Thomas has designed this flowing dynamic class, using the rhythm of the breath to energise you as you move in and out of poses. A complete practice, this is a perfect way to perk up your energy and have your mind feeling clear and renewed for the day ahead!
Day Class 2 – Gentle Awakening: This practice begins by waking the body and mind gently, working the breath with simple movements. It leads on to a balanced practice that will stretch and compress your body not only waking your outer shell but it will massage your internal organs waking them up as well.
Day Class 3 – Centering: This practice is aimed at focusing and awakening the mind using some simple balancing poses. It is a balanced practice with an emphasis on the hips.
Day Class 4 – Balancing Sequence: This is a good all round practice, moving from standing poses, through simple salutes to lunges, seated forward bends, backbends, twists and finally your relaxation time.
Day Class 5 – Body Opening Sequence: A well balanced practice with an emphasis on opening the heart centre. With the heart centre open, you can breathe better, your heart will function better and you will feel better.
Evening Class 1 – Calm & Centring: This practice can be done at any time to help release and reverse the tensions that have built up in your body during the course of your working day. For example a simple lunge will stretch out those tight hip flexor muscles that have contracted by sitting all day at your desk.
Evening Class 2 – Restorative: This practice first rests your body and then very gently, working the breath with movement, releases tension. You will find your whole body gently stretched, twisted and massaged. It is finished with the traditional relaxation time.
This is set of 7 open level class and total length is 148 minutes.
