Grant Wolf comes from Rockhampton, Queenland, where he began his athletic career as a swimmer. Adept and successful in competitive surf-lifesaving, Grant shifted to singing and dancing in University and soon found himself accepted into the Australian Opera Ballet and Meryl Tankards’ Dance Theater. A successful career in musical theatre ensued where he found himself in the casts of Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, Aspects of Love and Pageant, amongst others. He also soon thereafter began training as a platform diver, whilst working in television script editing.
Grant enjoys a wide variety of creative expression, and this expansive creativity flows into his teaching style. Drawing on years of Hatha yoga training, and studies in Ayurveda as well as the Vedas (East India’s sacred texts), Grant’s style is filled with motion and poise. He believes that by moving from the heart and learning the instrument of the body, one can find the music of life.
Grant is the co-founder and director of Yoga BC, a picturesque yoga studio located at the Andrew Boy Charlton Swimming Pool, Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, by the waters of Woolloomooloo Bay.
