Gail has practised and taught yoga for over 40 years in Australia and overseas, having discovered yoga when she was 12 years old, and started teaching in 1977. Gail established the Caringbah Yoga School in Sydney, Australia in 1983. Courses included beginners yoga, yoga for pregnancy, hatha yoga, kundalini yoga, meditation and classes on spiritual development. This school is known today as the Premier Yoga College, Caringbah. After selling the school, Gail now spends more time in private mentoring and practice.
Gail studied with Swami Sarasvati and has attended classes in many styles and with many teachers in many countries – Thailand, Indonesia, the USA, New Zealand, with extensive experience in various styles including Bikram yoga, Ashtanga yoga, Iyengar yoga, Power yoga, and Raj yoga.
Gail’s transition into guiding people in Tantra evolved through her own continual research, private practice, and exploration of yoga. She does not belong to an ashram or follow a particular guru or style of yoga. Her teaching style applies the principle of simply pointing the student in the direction of enlightenment (i.e. not mistaking the study of the teapot for the experience of drinking the tea).
Gail believes in and embraces the one ultimate reality – that all spiritual / religious paths are aiming to lead the follower to the state of freedom and love for which all awakened beings yearn.
