Yoga Practice Notes (eBook)
These notes and posture diagrams show a variety of sequences for Beginners, progressing to Intermediate.
Classes and home practice are interdependent. The former provides the knowledge, the latter provides the experience. Each supports the other. Establishing an adequate balance between the two is the key to achieving a fulfilling relationship with your yoga. A further balance is required. That is to achieve a harmonious balance between activity and passivity in your home practice. Thus dynamic poses such as headstand, handstand, standing poses, and back bends need to be balanced with more passive poses, such as the seated and regenerative postures.
This balance may be attained in one practice session, or by an active morning session and a passive evening session, or by alternating dynamic and passive practices over a week. However it is done, the aim is to achieve and maintain a physiological and emotional balance. Once you have gained experience you will be able to devise your own sequences, but for the first year or so it’s best to follow the sequences in this booklet.
As this comes in the form of an eBook, you download this product after purchase.
