Yang Yoga Open Level Class 1
This introduction to Yang Yoga has three parts:
1. A Brief Orientation followed by a Qi-Gong influenced spiral motion or “Spinning” which can be practised at any time of day.
2. A Tutorial Instruction Sequence that takes you through step-by-step each of the poses.
3. Three rounds of the Yang Sequence in full swing.
Yang style offers a dynamic fluid sequence of movements where the circular spiral movement patterns we see in nature are balanced with the linear-based approach so commonly practised in yoga today. There is an emphasis on following your body’s natural instinctive movements.
This is an open level class and is 76 minutes in length.
