Kundalini Yoga Beginners Class 4
Beautiful yoga teacher Siri Gopal Kaur has compiled this series of seven classes suitable for all levels of ability – from beginners to advanced practitioners.
CLASS 4 is called “Awakening to your 10 Bodies”. The ten bodies are: Soul Body, Negative Mind, Positive Mind, Neutral Mind, Physical Body, Arc Line, Auric Body, Pranic Body, Subtle Body, and Radiant Body. This class will support you to clean and rebalance all of our bodies to leave you feeling refreshed and revitalised.
If new to Kundalini Yoga start with the minimum suggested repetition time for each posture, slowly increasing the times (to go no longer than the maximum given) as you become more familiar with the practice.
Each class begins with warm ups, preparing for the kriya (the main section of the class) to be practiced. Kriyas in Kundalini Yoga are set sequences of movements, designed to work on specific aspects of your being. For example, there are many different kriyas, each with a different focus – from spine flexibility, strength, weight loss, cleansing liver, mental clarity, clearing the chakras, etc.
Kundalini Yoga incorporates pranayama (breathwork), mantra (chanting), dynamic movement, mudra and meditative focus to balance your energetic body and fine tune your physical body. Kundalini Yoga is said to be “the mother of all yoga”, the yoga of awareness.
This is a beginners level class and is 71 minutes in length.
