Joint-Freeing Exercise Yoga Class 1
These exercises remove, or at least decrease, blockages in the body and the joints that prevent the free-flow of energy.
The word pawanmuktasana translates from Sanskrit as ‘wind-releasing’ or ‘joint-freeing’.
Some of these blockages are caused by bad posture, disturbed bodily functions, emotional problems, or just by living an out-of-balance lifestyle. Eventually these minor and acute difficulties we experience over time become chronic and major problems.
This is an Open Level Class – a good foundation for beginners, as it improves breath and body awareness through gentle exercises. For more seasoned yogis, this is an ideal practice for centring or to begin your asana practice.
This is an open level class and is 57 minutes in length.
