Yoga for Menstruation Class 1
This specially designed class is suitable for use during the first few days of your period. The poses in this class work to gently move the flow of blood around the pelvis and support the downward flow of energy. This is supportive in softening and releasing tension in the abdominal area which can ease the discomfort of menstrual cramps. It may also help relieve lower back ache, and works to rejuvenate the body and mind by calming the nervous system.
This is an open level class and is 57 minutes in length.
For this routine you will need: a yoga mat, 2 blocks, 2 bolsters (or 1 bolster and rolled-up blankets), 2 blankets, a strap or belt, a chair and access to a wall space.
